Deuces Never Loses

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

After a three-way flop of {3-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {4-Hearts}, Adam Owen bet 600 and was called by initial preflop aggressor Karim Benamrouche, the player in the small blind folded. The {4-Spades} turn and {5-Spades} river both got checked through and the Brit announced queen-high. Benamrouche turned over {2-Spades} {2-Diamonds} and scooped the pot.

One hand later, Benamrouche raised to 1,500 and was called by three opponents including Mohamed Mamouni. On the {6-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} flop only Mamouni called a bet of 1,500 by Benamrouche before the two of them checked the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Mamouni then made it 5,050 to go after Benamrouche had checked the {8-Spades} river and was eventually paid off, scooping the pot with {5-Spades} {7-Clubs} for the nut straight.

While Benamrouche dropped some chips on the second hand, he is still among the biggest stacks right now.
