Sun Gets Little Value Out of a Straight
Level 39
: 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Philipp Zukernik limped the small blind with the Q♦5♦ and Haoran Sun checked the 9♦3♦ in the big blind.
On the 8♦5♥4♦ flop, both players checked and the 6♠ followed on the turn. Zukernik check-called for 2,000,000 and the 7♣ came on the river to give Sun the nine-high straight. Another check by Zukernik saw Sun move all-in and Zukernik folded.
