Rybin All In

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Alexey Rybin has completely controlled the entire tournament this week but he's been playing fairly passively today and it may prove to be his downfall. The Russian just won back to back pots though.

First he opened shoved for 750,000 with {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and everyone folded. The next hand saw Albert Daher open to 80,000 with {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} but he instantly folded when Rybin shoved again, this time with {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}.

Sergey Rybachenko
Sergey Rybachenko

Sergey Rybachenko moved all in for his last 120,000 holding {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and was called by Albert Daher with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Alexey Rybin saw some value and joined the party with {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. The flop was {8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. A 170,000 bet from Daher got Rybin out of the way. The last two cards were {k-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} and Rybachenko was gone.

Daher Doubles Through Rybachenko

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Sergey Rybachenko and Albert Daher
Sergey Rybachenko and Albert Daher

Alexey Rybin raised raised to 65,000 with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} before Sergey Rybachenko made it 170,000 in the small blind. Jesse May and Jeffrey Hakim remarked in commentary that this was the perfect spot for a four bet all in from Albert Daher. This happened mainly because Daher held {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Rybin got out of the way and Rybachenko instantly called.

The board came {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{A-Clubs} and Daher caught a lucky ace on the river to survive and double up, Rybachenko was crippled as a result.

Nikonov’s Nines

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Alexey Rybin raised under the gun with {a-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Andrei Nikonov smooth called with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. The blinds folded and we saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Rybin checked and as Nikonov reached for chips Rybin folded.

Tugrul Balances his Shoving Range

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Kayhan Tugrul shoved all in from the button for 590,000 with {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and nobody wanted to call, so the blinds and antes were pushed over to him, increasing his stack to 660,000. The next deal he moved in again, this time with a real hand {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. No callers again and a few more chips headed Turgul’s way.
