From our tournament director Cheri Dokken-- tonight we'll be playing through the end of Level 11 regardless of the number of players remaining. Day 2 play should finish by around Midnight PST.

Tomorrow, Day 3 play will run from 3:30 PM to Midnight, with the goal of getting down to the final six tables. On Tuesday, we will play from 6 tables down to 2, again not going past Midnight. The final 18 players return on Wednesday to play down to the 6 handed TV final table.

Steve Dannenmann Loses Half His Stack

On a board of {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, Steve Dannenmann moved all in and his opponent called from the cutoff seat. Dannenmann had his opponent covered and showed the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and winced when the other gentleman turned over the {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for a set. Dannenmann shipped over 90K across the table and is left with approximately 83K.

Isabelle Mercier is looking fashionable, yet meanacing. She's going for the all-black look, but not in a French way, but more like a Hell's Angles biker gang look. She's wearing a black leather jacket and a dark rhinestone encrusted t-shirt with a skull and cross bones on the front with dark shades to match.

On a board of {10-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, Isabelle Mercier bet 5K on the turn and her opponent in Seat 1 called. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Seat 1 pushed all-in for about 16K more. Isabelle folded and Seat 1 showed the {2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a baby flush.
