Players are beginning to filter into the tournament room for today's main event of the Los Angeles Poker Classic. Full tournament coverage, video, photos and pithy commentary will begin at 3:30 PM PST today.

The six player Final Table will be taped on Thursday March 1st.

The players will play a maximum of 12 hours today. Dinner break will be at 7PM, so they will play two levels before breaking for dinner. After the break, play will continue for a maximum of five additional levels of 90 minutes each. It will be a very long night.

WSOP Champion Jamie Gold: Before the Death Blow

2006 WSOP Champion Jamie Gold is gone. He's the first big named player to bust out at the LA Poker Classic. Gold did not even make it past the first level.
