Tehan, Out.

Down to his last 1,775 in chips, Joe Tehan moved all in with {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} as the first player in the pot from late position. The remaining players quickly folded to the big blind, and after a few seconds of deliberation he decided to call with {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, announcing that he just had an ace. Joe was unable to catch a piece of the board and was subsequently eliminated from the tournament.

Joe Tehan Down to 2,500

All players folded to Joe Tehan on the button who opened for a raise to 525. The small blind got out of his way, but the big blind re-raised Joe 1,000 more. Tehan called, and the flop came {7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Both players checked. The turn brought the {Q-Hearts} and after his opponent checked to him again, Joe decided to bet 1,850. After thinking for about two minutes, the other player called. The river card was the {10-Spades}. Joe's lone opponent checked again, and Joe bet 2,500, half of his remaining chips. Unfortunately for Tehan, his opponent called with just enough to beat Joe's ace-jack high -- he called with ace-king high!

Tim Vance Doubles Up

Tim Vance
Tim Vance
Tim Vance, who recently won the EPT Scandinavian Open -- a score worth $1,224,988 -- has just doubled up after flopping a set of kings on a {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{A-Spades} board. He moved all in when the {7-Clubs} fell on the turn and his opponent made the call with {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} saying, "I'm getting almost two-to-one. I call."

The river brought the {Q-Spades} - a safe card for Vance, who pumped a fist before raking in the 20,000 pot.

Bill Edler Eliminates a Player

Facing a small raise from tournament pro Bill Edler, the player in the small blind re-raised all-in. Edler made the call and tabled {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, setting up a race against his opponent's {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. The flop of {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} brought little drama. The turn came {7-Clubs} leaving less outs for Edler's opponent and the {3-Spades} on the river sealed the deal, giving the pot to Bill, who now has almost 20,000 in chips.

Deuces Never Loses

Chris Ferguson opens the pot for a raise to 250 as the first one in from late position, and Eli Elezra is is the only player to call from the big blind. The board comes {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and both players check on every street. Finally, Eli says, "I got it," showing king-high, then Ferguson turns over his pocket deuces to scoop the pot.
