Bernard Lee Eliminated in 4th Place ($37,965)

4th Place - Bernard Lee
4th Place - Bernard Lee
A short-stacked Bernard Lee moved all in from under the gun for his remaining 110,000. Michael Martin took a while before finally calling. The players showed:

Lee: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Martin: {A-Spades}{5-Spades}

The flop came {K-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} which was no help to Lee. He would need to pair one of his cards to stay alive. The turn was a blank for Lee as well, coming the {K-Diamonds}. There was no miracle river for Lee as the dealer threw down the {3-Spades} on fifth street. Michael Martin took the pot and now has 455,000 while Bernard Lee is out in fourth place with $37,965 to show for it.

Ben Hock Takes a Pot from Bernard Lee

The action folded around to Bernard Lee in the small blind. He put in a raise, making it 22,000 to play. Ben Hock looked him up from the big blind. It was heads-up to the flop of {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Lee led out for 32,000 and Hock made the call. The turn came the {10-Hearts}. Lee slowed down, this time checking. Hock wasted little time announcing, "All in." Lee had a look of anguish as he reluctantly threw away his hand.

5th Place - Keith Murrell
5th Place - Keith Murrell
A short-stacked Keith Murrell moved all in from under the gun for 33,000. Action folded to Michael Martin in the big blind and he eventually called. The players showed:

Martin: {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Murrell: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Murrell had the advantage going to the flop, but it was quickly reversed when the flop came {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Fourth and fifth streets were no help to Murrell, coming the {2-Spades} and {9-Clubs} respectively. Murrell's ace high was second best and he was eliminated in fifth place. He headed for the payout table where he pocketed $33,273 for his strong finish.

Samuel Shamburg Eliminated in 6th Place ($28,582)

6th Place - Samuel Shamburg
6th Place - Samuel Shamburg
Action folded around to Samuel Shamburg in the cutoff seat and he moved all in. Bernard Lee called from the button, as did Ben Hock from the small blind. Shamburg was all in for the main pot, looking to triple up, and Hock and Lee had action on the side. The flop came down {J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Both Hock and Lee checked. The turn came the {10-Spades}. Again, both players checked. When the {9-Spades} hit the river, it was another check-check. Hock showed pocket queens and Lee flashed A-K before mucking. Shamburg tossed his hand in face-down and headed for the door. Shamburg was eliminated in sixth place and can add $28,582 in earnings to his poker resume.
