Unlucky Louie

A player in early position raises to 450. Ilias "Louie K" Kellikidis calls from the hijack, and the button also calls.

The flop is {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades} and all three players check.

The turn is the {5-Clubs} and it's checked to the button, who bets 1,200. The early position player folds, and Louie folds {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} face up. He's still one of the top players on the leaderboard with 50,700 in chips.

Billirakis Picks Off Bluff Attempt

With over 7,000 in the pot and the board reading {4-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {10-Clubs}, Steve Billirakis checked the action over to an opponent who bet 5,000. Billirakis thought for a little while before calling. His opponent said "good call", and showed {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts}. Billirakis flipped over {Q-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes and collected the chips.

Steve "MrSmokey1" Billirakis now has about 32,000.

Dean Hamrick Chips Up

In a hand just before the break, Dean Hamrick bet 1,200 on a board that read {Q-Hearts} {5-Spades} {3-Spades} and two callers came along. The {5-Clubs} turn saw Hamrick fire 3,300. One opponent called, leading to the {7-Diamonds} river. Hamrick calmly put out 6,200 and his opponent instantly folded.

Hamrick now sits with around 33,000.

Meanwhile...

While that Saul hand was happening, at another table, the dealer announced "all in and call." The losing player then announced "F***!" as he stormed off in 151st place.

Saul Again

We keep reporting Kevin Saul hands because it seems as if he's in every big pot at his table. In this case, things went a little different for Saul than the norm for today. An opponent is all in preflop and Kevin calls, having him more than covered. Kevin shows {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} to the opponent's {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. The board runs out {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Saul's opponent doubles up.

Saul's still doing fine at 49,300 in chips.

Kevin "BeL0WaB0Ve" Saul Applies the Pressure

On a board of {J-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {5-Clubs} and 4,000 in the pot, Kevin Saul was facing a bet of 2,800. Saul deliberated for a minute and then raised it up to 9,200.

His opponent tanked, and eventually folded {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds} face up. He asked Saul if he made the right play, Saul responded with "You played it the way I would have." Another player at the table said to the folder, "You played it the way he wanted you to!"

Kevin Saul now sits with nearly 65,000.

New Table? No Problem!

Brett Richey continues to accumulate chips at his new table, which includes former NBA player Ken Norman. During one hand, for example, Richey raises to 550 preflop and gets one caller. The flop is {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and the opponent checks. Brett bets 850 and takes it. He's got 64,400.
