The Brunson Pays for Chartier

Jeffrey Izes announced a raise in preflop action, but put in what was determined to be a string raise. He was then obligated to raise the minimum amount to 4,800. Anthony Newman called in the cutoff seat and Samuel Chartier called out of the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Spades} {9-Hearts} {7-Clubs} and all three players checked. After the turn fell the {3-Hearts}, Chartier led for 10,000. Izes folded, but Newman called.

The river brought the {K-Clubs} and both Chartier and Newman checked. Chartier showed {10-Diamonds} {2-Spades} for a pair of tens and was good enough to scoop the pot.
