Action folded around to Ted Ely on the button and he raised. Bill Gazes reraised all in from the small blind and Ely made the call getting decent odds. Ely had his {A-Hearts}

"Chop it up," said one of the players at the table before the dealer began to run out the board.

The first four cards came down {9-Clubs}

and made things look like it was going to be a chop. But then, the {8-Hearts}

fell on the river and Gazes was able to get the double up.

Ely was left with only about 17,000 chips after the hand.
