Nixon Moving Chips

John Nixon had about 170,000 chips left, and they all went into the middle preflop holding {A-Diamonds} {J-Spades}. Unfortunately for him, Michael Michnik looked down at {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} and made the call, putting himself all in for about 130,000 total.

Board: {8-Spades} {6-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}.

Michnik's kicker held up, and he earned a huge double-up to 260,000, leaving his opponent with just 37,000.

On the next hand, Nixon moved all in with {K-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} and got action from Jason Young, who turned over {A-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}. This time though, Nixon managed to connect with the board and outdraw Young. He has gotten his own double-up, back to 88,000, now essentially even with Young.
