Pair v. Pair

From the button, Samuel Chartier opened with a raise to 50,000. Jason Young folded his small blind, but Matt Brady announced an all in from the big blind. He had 427,000 chips left, and they were all committed to the pot. As soon as the words were out of Brady's mouth, Chartier snap-called, putting the shiny-headed pro to the test for his tournament life.

Showdown:
Chartier: {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}
Brady: {3-Clubs} {3-Spades}

The crowd began to stir with anticipation of this big pot, but the at-risk Brady simply sat statue-still in his chair, gazing at the felt. As the spectators leaned closer, the dealer spread out the flop: {3-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}. The railbirds erupted in a huge reaction to Brady's come-from-behind set. The hand was far from over though, as Chartier had flopped a flush draw. The turn was safe, the {4-Spades}. Fifth street was red, but it was the {J-Hearts}, filling up Brady's full house and earning him a huge double up. He has climbed all the way up to 840,000, in a dead heat for the chip lead now.
