David Dao opened the betting from the cutoff seat, putting in a raise to 650. Seth Fischer was next, and he re-raised it to 1,700 from the button. Action folded back around the table and Dao who, in his typical fashion, took his time before very deliberately calling the bet.

The flop came down {K-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {9-Clubs}. Dao checked, and Fischer continued out with a bet of 2,000. Dao checked and re-checked his cards. Then he took another moment to size up his opponent before making the call.

Fourth street was the {7-Spades}. Dao again passed, and Fischer opted to bet again, this time 5,000. It would take another minute or two of card checking, chip counting, and opponent staring, but Dao opted to let his hand go, shipping the pot over to Fischer.
