Justin Allen Crippled, then Eliminated in 7th Place ($31,958)

Justin "LockdownTex" Allen - 7th Place
Justin "LockdownTex" Allen - 7th Place
Under the gun, Justin Allen got things started with a raise to 30,000. In middle position, Jean Gaspard put in the call. Steven McKoy was in the big blind with just 49,000 chips left, and he ducked out, letting his two opponents go heads up.

The flop came down {K-Spades} {10-Spades} {6-Hearts}, and both players checked. Fourth street brought the {6-Diamonds}. Allen took control once again, firing out a bet of 40,000. Gaspard wasted little time calling. The last card off the deck was the {A-Hearts}. Allen slowed down now, passing over to the big stack, and Gaspard obliged him with a quick bet of 80,000. Allen called.

Gaspard turned over {J-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}, having rivered the Broadway straight. With a disgusted look on his face, Allen flung his cards into the muck. "F***ing serious?... Never in my goddamn life..." After taking that hit, Allen was crippled all the way down to 55,000.

On the very next hand, Gaspard opened into Allen's big blind with a raise to 30,000. When it came around to Allen, he moved all in for that 55,000, and Gaspard quickly called.

Showdown
Gaspard: {4-?} {4-?}
Allen: {A-Spades} {J-Spades}

The board would run out bone dry for the at-risk player, and Gaspard's pair of fours was good enough to win the pot. With that, Justin "LockdownTex" Allen becomes our 7th-place finisher, stopping by the payout desk to pick up his check for just shy of $32,000 on his way out the door.
