Stout Hits the Rail

Matt Stout - All Out at 4:10
Matt Stout - All Out at 4:10
We missed the preflop action, coming to Matt Stout's table only after the dealer burned and turned a flop of {5-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {6-Hearts}. Stout, sitting in the small blind, was first to act. He moved all in for 5,975. That bet folded one player and brought the action to Esther Taylor. She asked the dealer to spread the pot (about 10,500, not including Stout's bet) and then started talking to herself.

"...I'm only worried about this guy's..."
"...shoving pre..."
"I don't believe you, Matt. I never do."
"...airball..."

Finally, Taylor called.

"Nor should you believe me," said a disappointed Stout as he revealed {9-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}, a total airball. Taylor showed {J-Hearts} {J-Clubs}. "Gah! I almost got her off it."

The board ran out {10-Spades} and {A-Diamonds}, giving Taylor the pot. Stout was eliminated.
