Shaun Deeb played his hand hard and fast, but his opponent played harder and faster. Deeb opened the betting preflop with a raise to 1,800. Action folded to the big blind, who reraised to 5,300. Deeb gave it a moment's thought before calling.

The flop came down {3-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {7-Clubs}. The big blind kept firing, coming out with a bet of 3,500. Deeb quickly raised that bet to 9,500, but gave up his hand when the big blind reraised to 19,500. Deeb's opponent triumphantly turned over {K-Spades} {5-Spades}.
