Huy Nguyen raised to 2,700 under the gun only to have Jonathan Poche, who was next to act, make it 7,600 to go. When action folded back to Nguyen, he made the call and watched the flop come down . Nguyen checked, Poche bet 13,600, and Nguyen conceded the hand. Poche took down the small pot to increase his stack to 135,000 while Nguyen dropped to 110,000.
Peter Mavro entered the pot from late position with a raise to 2,800 only to have James Anderson three-bet to 7,100 from the button.
With the action returning to Mavro, he went deep into the tank before moving all in for roughly 60,000. Anderson made the call for his tournament life and roughly last 30,000 as the cards were tabled.
