Seat Open, Table 1

Level 17 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

There are now three empty seats at the lethal Table 1. The three missing amigos were eliminated in three consecutive hands, and amazingly, all three were done in by pocket aces.

The latest victim of that black void was Paul Volpe, and it was Josh Brikis doing the deed. We only ran over when we heard the "Seat open" call as Volpe stood up, so the details are sketchy. What we could see was Volpe's {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts} on the felt in front of his former chair, and Brikis' {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} pulled in as the winning hand. The board showed five rags with two hearts, and we're not going to try and guess how the action transpired. However it started, it ended with Volpe's elimination and Brikis stacking a big stack of about 245,000.

We'll try to get some more details from Brikdog when we have a chance.
