Officially, 136 players turned up for this second-ever Regional Championship, and they are being warmly thanked for their presence by T.D. Jack Effel as we speak. Their entries have generated a prize pool of $1,279,624 that will be shared by the final 15 finishers. The bottom payout is worth $21,600, and each of the final nine are guaranteed at least $32,362 (plus their entry into the National Championship). The final four will all score four figures, and the eventual champion will be pocketing $358,295 and the shiny gold and diamond ring.
