Baron Seeing Red

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

After working his stack up to near-chip-leading status, Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron has lost nearly all of them. We picked up the action on the flop as the dealer spread out {Q-Spades} {7-Spades} {J-Diamonds}, and Baron and Chris Reslock tangled up in a betting and raising war that left Reslock all in for about 45,000. Baron looked him up with {J-Spades} {9-Spades} behind but drawing quite live against Reslock's {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs}.

The turn {K-Diamonds} was no help for Baron, and neither was the {5-Hearts} river. Unable to improve, Baron has doubled Reslock to about 105,000, dropping his own stack to just 19,000 in the process.
