Welcome to Harrah's Chester!

Good morning and welcome to the penultimate Main Event of the 2010-11 World Series of Poker Circuit season.

This trip brings us to the outskirts of Philadelphia where Harrah's Chester sits nestled between the meandering Delaware River and an imposing concrete jail. It's surprisingly cozy and well-appointed, though. Preliminary events have been running for a couple weeks, and there's just one more ring event to go. It's the $1,600 Main Event, and it's got a guaranteed prize pool of $400,000. The staff is optimistic of besting that guarantee, but reaching as high as 300 players looks like a longshot at this point.

We're still waiting for the players to begin streaming into the tournament room, but we have seen a few familiar faces around town already. Mike "Little Man Sica", Chris Tryba, Allen Kessler, "Miami" John Cernuto -- most of the Circuit regulars that aren't in Madrid figure seem to be in Chester right now. We'd expect to see most of the familiar East Coast crew here as registration rolls on into the start of play.

We're less than a half hour from our starting time, and the dealers have just taken their seats. The chips are being checked, the decks suited, and we're almost ready for play. Don't wander off; the Main Event is almost here!
