Daniel McGuire Eliminated in 25th Place ($7,462)

Daniel McGuire has been short-stacked literally the entire tournament. He went to dinner break today with just 18,000, but he soon worked it back over 100,000 and then some. Finally, though, he has been put out of his misery (though he was far from miserable at the table). It was Edwin Choi who got him, the young man calling the all in with {J-Spades} {9-Diamonds}. McGuire was in good shape with {A-Hearts} {9-Clubs}.

The flop came out {K-} {Q-} {J-} to pair Choi, and McGuire could not rally to find an out card on the turn or river. A few of the other players in the field came over to give their consolations to McGuire, but it was a fine show he put on this week. He'll take home about $7,500 for his work here in Hammond.
