Huge Double for Choi

The largest pot of the tournament just went down and it involved Edwin Choi and Casey Hayes. We picked up the action on the turn with the board reading {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. When we got to the table, here's what we saw: John Farmakoulas had 150,000 laid out in front of him, Hayes had raised to 480,000 and Choi had moved all in for 991,000. Farmakoulas folded and got out of the way, but then Hayes made the call after tanking for a bit.

When the hands were turned over, it was a flush-over-flush situation which had Choi sitting pretty. He held the {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} against the {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for Hayes.

The river completed the board with the {5-Spades} and kept Choi's flush the best hand. He was able to double up to over two million in chips while Hayes was knocked all the way down to 700,000.
