Welcome back for Day 3 of the first-ever World Series of Poker Circuit $10,000 Regional Championship event. It's been great action from here in Hammond, Indiana at the Horseshoe and only going to get better from here. The field of 226 has been whittled down to the final 24 and everyone left is in the money, guaranteed at least $19,400. Everyone left is also guaranteed 50 points towards the National Championship.
There's plenty of firepower left in this field including three Full Tilt Red Pros. Those pros are Steve Zolotow, Justin Smith and Brandon Adams. Also remaining are Bernard Lee, Dave "Doc" Sands, Shannon Shorr, David Paredes, Keven Stammen, Adam "Roothlus" Levy and David "Bakes" Baker. The biggest stack in the room belongs to Gabe Patgorski, who tops the field with 729,000 in chips.

Action moved around to Ryan Austin in the small blind and he moved all in for 49,000. David Adkison was in the big blind and had just busted Mohsin Charania a little bit ago. He made the call with the . Austin held the

The board was rather uneventful when it ran out

Adam "Roothlus" Levy Eliminated in 21st Place ($22,678) - 1:38 PM
They're dropping fairly quickly over here in Hammond, Indiana. The field is now down to 20 players after the elimination of Adam "Roothlus" Levy in 21st place.
James Anderson opened with a raised to 15,000 from under the gun. Levy was in the hijack seat and reraised all in for 145,000. Anderson tanked, deciding whether or not to call the extra 130,000. Eventually he made the call and the hands were revealed.

David "Bakes" Baker just got his second knockout of the day, sending Shawn Busse to the rail in 20th place. Baker raised to 15,000 from the button and Busse moved all in for 103,000 from the big blind. Baker made the call with the

Bernard Lee raised to 16,000 from under the gun. Action moved around to Curt Kohlberg in the hijack seat and he reraised to 45,000. Lee moved all in for 159,000 and Kohlberg made the call.

Adkison Doubles with Kings - 2:58 PM
There was a good amount of downtime before any real action kicked up on one of the two remaining tables. With another pie jump coming after another elimination and the players getting deeper in the event, everyone has started play a little more cautiously. This is also due to a lot of the short stacks dropping out early and leaving the deeper stacks in play.
From under the gun, Dan Perper raised to 19,000. David Paredes reraised to 60,000 from the cutoff seat. He was flatted by Curt Kohlberg on the button before action folded to David Adkison in the big blind. Adkison announced a raise and started sliding his chips out. He went back to his stack more than one time, meaning only the first amount he slid out counted. No string raises allowed, sir. His raise was to 137,000 and he had 41,000 behind. Perper folded and then Paredes moved all in. Kohlberg folded and Adkison called off the last of his stack.

Shannon Shorr limped from the cutoff seat and Dave "Doc" Sands limped from the button. Full Tilt Red Pro Brandon Adams completed from the small blind and then Anthony Hartmann checked his option in the big blind. All four players saw the flop come for the minimum amount. Adams checked first and then Hartmann fired 23,000. Shorr raised to 70,000 and then Sands reraised to 187,000. Adams folded and Hartmann tanked. He folded as well and then Shorr followed suit. He three-bet to 73,000. Kohlberg then made it 256,000 and after Adkison folded, Paredes announced a call. Kohlberg thought Paredes was all in and exposed his hand, the , but Paredes still had chips behind. He only had 36,000 and thought himself that Kohlberg had raised enough to put him all in. Brandon Adams reraised all in from the button for 86,000 and then Anthony Hartmann reshipped all in from the small blind. Shorr and Sands both folded.

Gabe Patgorski was first into the pot from the cutoff seat, and he limped in. Small blind Curt Kohlberg completed, and Bernard Lee knocked the table for a free flop from the big blind.
The three men took a flop of , and the action checked around the table to the turn. Kohlberg checked again, and Lee took a 21,000-chip stab at the pot. Patgorski called, Kohlberg folded, and the landed on the river. Lee fired another 28,000 chips at the pot, and Patgorski didn't waste much time calling.
Lee snap-mucked, though, and Patgorski returned his cards to the dealer face-down. At most tournaments, the winning hand must be shown in the 'show two cards to win the pot' rule. That rule does not exist here in Indiana, however, and the floor explained to Lee that neither he nor anyone at the table could ask to see the winning hand.
Patgorski takes it down with no showdown.

From the cutoff, Curt Kohlberg raised to 30,000, and Bernard Lee three-bet to 78,000 in position. When the blinds folded Kohlberg promptly four-bet to 163,000 total, drawing a pause from Lee. He had 445,000 chips left, and he eventually decided a fold was his best course of action, returning his cards to the dealer face-down.
Paredes C-Bets to Victory - 5:32 PM
In a battle of the blinds, David Paredes raised to 35,000 from the small, and Curt Kohlberg called to see a flop. It came , and a 50,000-chip continuation bet was enough to win the pot without incident.

Adams Wakes Up - 5:47
A series of three consecutive hands involving Brandon Adams:
1: Under the gun, David Sands raised to 28,000, and Adams moved all in for 118,000 next door. Sands asked for the count, then folded out of the way. "If I'd get a T-shirt, I'd have called," Sands said about the potential to knock out the Full Tilt Red Pro. It sounded like Adams said he had aces, and Sands confessed to his king-jack suited.
2: Adams was under the gun on the next hand, and he opened to 27,000, folding the rest of the table and earning him a round of blinds and antes. "Woke him up," Sands said. "My bad, guys."
3: From the big blind now, Adams called a raise to 30,000 from Mark Owens, and the two short stacks checked through the flop. On the turn, Adams took the betting lead with 45,000 chips, and Owens gave it a good look before folding.
From 118,000 to 242,000 goes Brandon Adams over the course of those three hands, doubling up without ever seeing a river card.
"You got me," Sands said a few minutes later.
"How did I get you?" Adams asked.
"By getting me," came the logical reply. "You got my 28,000 chips," Sands explained. Adams smirked as he finished stacking up.

Things have slowed right down with 11 players left, and the action is being driven by just two or three players. Dave Sands, Shannon Shorr, and David Paredes are really the only guys splashing around right now as everyone else sits relatively tight and waits for cards.
Short stacks Brandon Adams and Mark Owens are very interested in the action at the other table, and they frequently stand up to glance across, hoping they'll see someone shorter on chips than they. Apart from that, the two of them are basically looking for spots to three-bet shove, and so far those have all gotten through uncontested.

Not slowing down now, Patgorski announced a covering all in, sliding out a tall stack of his blue T25,000 chips.
