Anthony Ruffolo started the day among the chip leaders but things have not been going his way. In a recent hand, Ruffolo moved all in preflop from early position with for around 90,000 and was called by Cary Purcell who held and the bigger stack.

Mark "Pegasus" Smith had grown short-stacked and was all in preflop with against the of Michael Schoen. The flop kept Smith in the lead but put out a lot of chop outs for Schoen. The on the turn was not one of them and the on the river have Smith a straight. He doubled to 35,000 while Schoen was eliminated from the tournament on the very next hand.
Cary Purcell, the chip leader, put in a standard raise from middle position only to have Kenny Milam reraise 25,000 more from one of the blinds. Purcell called and created a pot of around 80,000 before the flop!
When the flop came down , Milam moved all in for around 65,000 and Purcell snap-called. Milam showed but was dismayed when Purcell flipped over for a flopped set. Jones flipped over and Crawford the . Crawford had straight and flush draws and wasn't in bad shape. Unfortunatley for her, it came and , missing all her outs and knocking her out of the tournament. With her elimination, there are no more women remaining in the field.
