Day 2 Started
Welcome back to Caesars Atlantic City for Day 2 of the 2011 WSOP Circuit Main Event!
The hotel and casino where we are located is on Pacific Avenue, one of the many Atlantic City street names used in the U.S. version of the popular board game Monopoly. You could say the game we're playing resembles Monopoly in certain ways.
Play goes in a clockwise direction. The object is similar, too, namely, to bankrupt your opponents and become the richest player left standing. With just 81 players left, we're closing in fast on the money bubble, with the top 45 finishers due to get paid. In other words, it'll be something like "Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200" -- or any dollars at all -- for 36 of those coming back to rejoin the game today.
Meanwhile, those who do cash will be guaranteeing themselves at least a $2,861 payday. Of course, all will continue to work on building those stacks of chips -- like so many houses and hotels -- in the hopes of increasing their bankrolls even further.
Frank Argano currently enjoys the chip lead as the only player with more than 300,000, but several players are edging closer. And as we all know, things can change quickly with the turn of a single (Chance) card.
The game restarts at noon. See you then!

The cards are in the air and the race to the final table is on!
Antonio Walker entered the day with only 16,500 chips and moved all in on the first hand. Tim Bayles made the call and the hands were turned up.
Showdown
Walker:
Bayles:
The board ran and Walker was eliminated from the tournament.
Greg Bock started today with 26,700, and soon after play began had his entire stack in the middle only to get reraised all in by Rick Austin.
"Guess I picked a bad spot," said Bock, tabling his . Indeed he had, as Austin turned over . The board ran out , and Bock was eliminated. Austin now has just over 70,000.
Max Bock actually began today sitting at the recently-eliminated Greg Bock's table. Max was also short-stacked to start today, and just now got his remaining 7,500 in the middle with from middle position and was called by David Zeitlin in the small blind with .
The flop came , pairing Zeitlin. The turn was the and river the , and two Bocks have busted in the early going.
Zeitlin is up over 240,000 now.
Pratyusm Puddiga opened to 6,200 from early position and the action folded to 2009 November Niner Eric Buchman who three-bet shoved for 36,200 more. Puddiga called and we were off to the races.
Showdown
Puddiga:
Buchman:
There was paint on the flop, but it missed Buchman. The on the turn was a brick and so too was the on the river, sending him to the rail.
"I don't feel too bad," Albert "vtlaxer09" Winchester said after the hand. "He did finish 4th in the Main."
Dylan Drazen opened with a raise to 7,100 from middle position, then Matthew Mazzeo reraised to 17,700 from the cutoff. It folded to Ellis Frazier in the small blind who pushed all in for a little over 100,000. Drazen thought a while, then announced he was reraising over the top, forcing Mazzeo out of the hand. Cards on their backs...

Drazen
The board came , and Frazier lightly tapped the felt with his fist, glad for the double-up. He's up to 220,000 now, while Drazen slips to 165,000. Meanwhile, Mazzeo sits with about 135,000.
