Brandon Fish Eliminated in 18th Place ($5,623)

Brandon Fish moved his whole stack toward the middle for 66,000 and was called by Christopher Bonn in the big blind. Fish's {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} was behind Bonn's {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}.

The flop paired them both when it came {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. The {9-Hearts} gave Fish additional heart outs on the turn, but he missed them when the {3-Spades} bricked out the river. Fish will be taking home $5,623 for his efforts.

Battle of the Blinds

Action folded around to Sai Wang in the small blind who raised to 21,000. In the big blind, Ed Stannish opted to re-raise, making it 56,000 to go. Wang pondered for a moment before pushing out a four bet, making the action 127,000. After about a minute, Stannish announced that he was all in. Stannish had Wang covered and Wang mulled over the decision before flinging his hand to the muck.

Phan Makes Solid Read

With the board reading {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, three players checked around to Tuan Phan on the button who bet out 34,000. Ed Stannish made the call and the other two players got out of the way.

The turn brought the {4-Spades} and both players checked. The board paired again on the river when the {4-Diamonds} hit. Stannish pushed out a bet of 43,000 and Phan went into the tank.

"You have straight draw?" asked Phan.

"I don't have a straight draw," replied Stannish.

"You don't have a straight draw, hm?" said Phan. Phan flung in a call and tabled {9-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Stannish mucked his hand. Phan clapped and jumped away from the table and was able to scoop a nice sized pot.

Mascagni Doubles Through Clinkscales

Cory Mascagni opened the action with a raise and was three-bet by Rex Clinkscales. It folded back around to Mascagni and he announced that he was all in.

"Give me a minute, guys," remarked Clinkscales as he counted out chips. "Alright, I call."

Mascagni flipped up {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and Clinkscales simply said "Good hand," flipping over {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}. The board ran {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Mascagni's aces were able to hold, scoring a key double up.
