Day 2 Started

It's Moving Day at WSOPC Chester Main Event

It's moving day here at the World Series of Poker Circuit Chester Main Event. We have 158 players returning from the two Day 1 flights and we're sure to pick up another dozen or so players that register today. Leading them all is Aaron Overton with nearly a 50,000 chip lead over his next closest competitor Cory Mascagni.

We won't crown a champion today but most of the players have their eyes set on valuable points for the National Championship. It's coming down to the wire for those chasing points with only one more stop on the schedule.

Overton pulled into the chiplead late in Day 1b and eclipsed everyone else in that flight. The field is stacked with notable players including; Tuan Phan, Kyle Cartwright, Ryan Tepen, Peter Ippolito, Roland Isra, Bryan Devonshire, Joe Hebda, Andy Frankenberger, Dennis Phillips, Tim Finne, "Wild" Bill Phillips, Todd Terry, Ryan Gentry, Vinny Pahuja, Everett Carlton, Lee Childs, Allen Kessler and Bradley Lipsey.

Cards will be in the air promptly at 1 p.m. EST and be sure to follow all the WSOPC action live on PokerNews.com.

Is This a Movie?

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We were lucky enough to see this hand develop and seemed like something out of a Hollywood movie that gets poker all wrong. Keith Crowder shoved from late position, Christopher Lim shoved from the button and Adam Chavis called all in from the small blind.

Crowder: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}
Lim: {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}
Chavis: {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}

The board ran {4-Spades} {6-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} and Crowder's full house earned him a triple up in early action.

Finne Fires On River

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Action folded around to the player in the small blind who raised to 2,500. Tim Finne defended his big blind and the two saw {8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop. The small blind continued out for 2,500 and Finne called.

The turn brought the {4-Diamonds} and the small blind fired once again, opting for a bet of 3,500 this time. Finne called once again. The {A-Spades} came on the river and the small blind shot out bullet number three; a bet of 6,500. Finne reached for his grey T5,000 chips and put in a raise to 16,000. His opponent folded his hand and Finne was able to triumph in this battle of the blind.

Overton Outkicks

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The player under the gun made a raise to 2,200. Current chip leader Aaron Overton made the call and the rest of the table folded.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{A-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and the original raiser checked for a second time. Overton threw out a bet of 2,800 and his opponent raised it to 8,000. Overton pondered for a moment before making the call. The {2-Clubs} came on the river and both players checked. Overton's opponent tabled {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} but Overton had him outkicked, showing a {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
