Kim Muscles Out the Men

A player opened for 3,500, Andrew Rubinberg called behind, Dwyte Pilgrim called from the small blind and Jenny Kim called from the big blind. The flop fell {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {J-Spades} and action checked around to Rubinberg who bet 7,000. Pilgrim folded, Kim raised to 16,000, the original raiser folded and Rubinberg sat motionless.

Kim kept her stare on him and Rubinberg tossed his cards back to the dealer.

Round III

Action folded to Dwyte Pilgrim in the hijack and he raised to 4,000. Both the button and small blind folded, putting action on Tim Vance in the big. He thought for a moment before moving all in for 24,000.

"Go ahead and write this one down, Pilgrim vs. Vance Round III," Pilgrim joked. "He wins this one too," he added as he sent his cards to the muck.

Pilgrim Building His Stack

An player opened for 3,500, Andrew Rubinberg called, Dwyte Pilgrim called on the button and Tim Vance called from the big blind. The flop came {7-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {6-Spades} and action checked to Pilgrim, who bet 4,000. Rubinberg was the only player to call and they both checked the {8-Spades} turn. The river came {J-Diamonds}, Rubinberg checked and Pilgrim bet 5,000. Rubinberg reluctantly folded and Pilgrim upped his stack to over 60,000.

Kim Sends Vance Packing

We found this hand developing after Tim Vance had moved all in following a raise by Jenny Kim. Kim called and the hands were tabled.

Vance: {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}
Kim: {5-Hearts} {5-Spades}

"Come on queens, hold for me," Vance pleaded.

The board ran {3-Clubs} {8-Spades} {2-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {A-Hearts} and Vance's plea fell on deaf ears as Kim rivered the wheel.

Nguyen Rebuilding

Kenny Nguyen started the day with a bang as he surged up the chip counts. He appeared to be the first to break 100K, reaching as high as 150,000. Unfortunately, things turned on Nguyen and he began losing, dropping back down to as low as 45,000.

The good news is Nguyen seems to have righted the ship. In a recent hand, a middle-position player raised to 5,200 and found a call from the player in the hijack. Nguyen then three-bet to 20,200 from the cutoff, which inspired folds all around. Nguyen added 10K+ to his stack without so much as a flop, bringing him up to 80,000.

He's Not Toole-ing Around

A player in middle position opened for 5,000 only to have Jake Toole shove all in for about 22,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and the original raiser didn't even give it a moment's though before mucking. Toole picked up some much needed chips, though he'll need some more if he hopes to catch up with the chip average.
