Scarborough Takes a Hit

A player in early position raised to 50,000 and found a caller in Mike Scarborough from the cutoff. When the flop came down {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, the EP player bet 50,000, Scarborough called, and the {4-Clubs} hit the turn. This time EP checked and Scarborough bet, putting out five light blue T25,000 chips.

His opponent made the call and then checked the {4-Hearts} river. Scarborough gathered some more light blue chips and slide out a bet of 250,000. The EP player though for about 40 seconds before making the call.

"Nice call," Scarborough admitted as he revealed {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a missed straight. The EP player showed {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} to take down the pot.

What Does Zero Percent Mean Exactly?

Level 25 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon was in a hand with another opponent. They were at the flop of {7-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, Kroon checked and his opponent bet 200,000.

Kroon was beside himself with the bet. He stood up from the table, consolidated his two drinks, did a lap around his chair all before he announced all in. He wandered so far away that the dealer had to call him back and tell him he had to stay close to the table.

"If I fold will you show me?" his opponent asked.

"Absolutely not. There is zero percent chance I show," Kroon replied.

After his opponent mucked Kroon lifted his cards just to us (Pokernews staff). The rail cheered for him to show and he said no.

Then he tossed his cards face up on the felt.

{A-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}

Being a math major is not a requirement for a Pokernews reporter but we're pretty sure we know what zero percent means.

The Wright Turn

Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon opened for 58,000 only to have Todd Wright move all in from the cutoff for 542,000. After the blinds got out of the way, Kroon snap-called and shot out of his chair.

Showdown
Kroon: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Wright: {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Kroon was in a dominating spot and primed to take down the 1.1 million pot after the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop. However, the {A-Clubs} spiked on the turn to give Wright a pair of aces and leave P0ker H0 drawing to a king on the river. The {J-Hearts} was not it, and Wright held on to double.

Crain Had that "Good Call" Feeling

We found Eric Crain and Shawn Quinn in a hand together with the board reading {K-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {8-Hearts}. Quinn moved all in for a hair under 300,000. While Crain was mulling his decision he said, "I've got this feeling that if I saw call you're gonna say 'Nice call' and turn over Ax Qx."

Crain tossed in the call and was pretty spot on. Quinn tabled {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} for a flush draw and Crain held {6-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}. The board completed {5-Hearts} {4-Clubs} giving Quinn the flush on the river.
