Day 2 Begins with All Eyes on the Final Table
Day 2 is set to start for the WSOPC Harrah's Atlantic City Main Event and the field is returning 215 players. Today's play is scheduled for 14 levels or a final table, whichever should come first. The story from Day 1 is Hung Truong who bagged up 211,200 at the end of play, which is nearly 100,000 more than his next closest competitor, Jimmy Born with 113,000.
Only one other player crossed the six-figure mark and that was Chinmay Patel (112,300). The field is returning a slew of notables including: Chris Reslock (93,700), Josh Brikis (66,500), "Karate" Mike Santoro (62,200), Nick Frangos (60,700), Chad Brown (57,100), Matt Keikoan (47,300), Christ Tryba (43,000), Drazen Ilich (30,000), Sirous Jamshidi (28,300) and "Miami" John Cernuto (26,600).
The early levels of the day will feature three 40 minute levels blocks with a break inbetween, then at Level 16 the levels increased to 60 minutes. The ballroom is beginning to fill and cards will be in the air promptly at noon. Follow all the WSOPC action live on Pokernews.com
