Third Bustout at Table Two

Terry Jacobs moved all in for his final 43,000 first to act preflop. Action folded to Jerry Case in the small blind and isolated by moving all in over the top. The big blind folded.

Jacobs: {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Case: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and the two were already shaking hands by the turn. Jacobs was the third table member to be eliminated since we redrew seats. Frank Maggio has been moved to that table to make them balanced.

Cronin Doubles Through Pfeifer

Tommy Cronin raised under the gun only to be three-bet to 69,000 by Randy Pfeifer. When action folded back to him, Cronin moved all in for 66,000 more. Pfeifer made the call to put his opponent at risk.

Cronin: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Pfeifer: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

"That's it?" Pfeifer joked. It got worse for him on the {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Spades} flop as it took away one of his outs. The {6-Diamonds} turn gave him three extra ones though. The {5-Hearts} river was ultimately a blank and Cronin earned his double up.

Reyes Ousts Maggio

We picked up the action on a {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop with a pot that had already reached 70,000. Jerry Case checked from the small blind position before Luis Reyes bet 42,000. Frank Maggio was next to act and though for awhile before moving all in for his last 85,000. Case folded and once it was counted out, Reyes made the call.

Reyes: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Maggio: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The turn and river were the {4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Maggio hit the rail.

Darland Joins The Leaders

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Donovan Darland raised to 23,000 from the cutoff and David Hengen called from the big blind. The flop came {2-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {10-Clubs} and Hengen check-called 26,000. The turn brought the {10-Hearts}, Hengen checked, Darland bet 26,000 and Hengen check-raised to 60,000. Darland called to see the {4-Clubs} on the river.

Hengen checked and Darland sat for a minute before tabling {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. Hengen took a long look at the kings and then mucked his hand. Darland is up to 525,000 and Hengen slipped to 460,000.

Sullivan Next To Go

Although we are unsure of the action we walked over after the flop had been dealt and John Sullivan was all in with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} facing off against the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} of Luis Reyes. The turn was the {a-Hearts}, officially ending Sullivan's deep run. The meaningless {9-Diamonds} was dealt on the river and Reyes creeps closer to the very top of the leaderboard.

Lee Doubles Through Nguyen

We found this hand developing as the players were starting to stand at the table. Bernard Lee opened for a raise, Thang Nguyen raised and Lee shoved. Nguyen called and the hands were tabled.

Lee: {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}
Nguyen: {A-Spades} {9-Spades}

The board ran {7-Spades} {2-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} 4x] and Lee doubled to over 400,000 and Nguyen slipped to 300,000.

Combs Calls Down

We picked up the action on the turn of a {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} board. Stan Combs was on the button and had to call 35,000 more to see the river. After some thought, he threw in the chips to call.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and this time Kenny Smith, Combs opponent in the hand, bet 55,000. Combs stood up and knelt on his chair before tossing in the chips. Smith tabled {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} but was no good against the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Combs.
