We Are In The Money!

After about 20 minutes on the bubble, we have found our bubble boy. The unfortunate player is Bob Hampton. Action folded around to Paul Lieu in the small blind, who shoved all in, easily having Hampton covered. Hampton made the call, putting his tournament life at risk.

Hampton:{a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Lieu: {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Hampton was well out in front, and stayed in front on the {q-}{5-}{5-Spades} flop. The turn brought the {7-Spades}, giving Lieu an open ended straight draw but also giving Hampton a flush draw. Hampton was well out in front, but it came crashing down when the {4-Diamonds} hit the river. Lieu's measly pair of fours was good enough to knock out Hampton, and the remaining 72 players are in the money!
