Clark Doubles

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante
David Clark has been sailing some rough waters today.
David Clark has been sailing some rough waters today.

We found David Clark heads up with an unknown opponent at the turn. The board read {4-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} and Clark bet 2,775. His opponent went all in, barely having Clark covered, and Clark called.

Clark: {A-Hearts} {5-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}

His opponent's flush draw bricked when it fell {J-Spades} on the river. Clark looks to have 22,000 after the double up.

Makar Sliding

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

An unknown player opened for 525 from the hijack and was called by both blinds, including Becky Makar in the small. The {4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} flop saw Makar take the initiative and lead out for 1,000, which just the big blind called. When the dealer burned and turned the {8-Hearts}, Makar slowed down with a check and opened the door for the big blind to bet 1,400. Makar wasted little time is sliding her hand to the muck, dropping to 10,500 in the process.

Adams Makes a Boat

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

We found Cory Burbick, Kirk Adams and another player at a flop of {K-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}. The unknown player checked, Adams bet 2,700, Burbick folded and the unknown player raised to 7,000. Adams played back at him, making it 27,000 to go. The unknown player moved all in and Adams called.

Adams: {K-Spades} {K-Clubs}
Player: {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}

The board completed {7-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} and Adams' full house beat the flush.

Weinman Benefits from River Counterfeit

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

With 7,000 in the pot and a board reading {5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}, Daniel Weinman checked from the big blind and faced a bet of 3,000 from an unknown player in the hijack. Weinman thought for a few moments before putting in a check-raise to 8,600, which his opponent called.

When the {A-Spades} peeled off on the river, Weinman hesitated before checking, and the hijack did the same. "Ten," Weinman announced before showing {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. The hijack was left shaking his head as his {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} two pair was counterfeited on the river.
