Checking the Nuts

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Darvin Moon
Darvin Moon

Remember the ESPN broadcast of the 2009 World Series of Poker when Darvin Moon checked the nuts on the river and received a one-round penalty? It happens more than you think on the Circuit, and it recently happened at Moon's table, though this time he was the beneficiary.

We're not sure of the hand, but we do know that Jerry Monroe, the IP Biloxi Main Event Winner from early this year, was last to act in a hand against Moon and checked the nuts. He was promptly issued a one-round penalty while Moon and his table mates reminisced about the very same situation from back in 2009.
