All Eyes on the Final Table
It's Day 3 here at the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Harrah's New Orleans and the returning 72 players all have their eyes set on the final table. Play ended when the field hit the money last night making for a relatively short day. Justin Wainscott returns as the chip leader with a comfortable lead over the field.
Everyone returning today is guaranteed at least $2,797, but that payday is nominal compared to the $19,156 reserved for a final table min-cash. Today's schedule of play will see the field play down to nine and then return for a Championship table tomorrow.
An accomplished field of pros and WSOPC regulars remain in the field; including: Andrew Nguyen, Darvin Moon, Conrad Monica, Maurice Hawkins, Daniel Lowery, Michael Linster, Kat Bowen, Matt Chang, Russell Ivy and "Captain" Tom Franklin.
Play is scheduled to return with blinds at 3,000/6,000 with a 1,000 ante. Cards will be in the air at 2 p.m. local time and follow all the action live on PokerNews.com.
