Gabaldon Spikes River to Eliminate Lampert

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Dominic Gabaldon opened for 45,000 from middle position only to have George Lampert move all in for 95,000 from the big blind. Even though it was only 50,000 more to Gabaldon, he didn't seem excited to make the call; nonetheless, he did.

Showdown

Gabaldon{Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Lampert{A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Lampert was in great shape and primed for a double, but the {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop did give Gabaldon a gut-shot straight draw to go along with his nine. The {8-Spades} turn was nothing special, but the {9-Hearts} river was as it paired Gabaldon and gave him the pot.

With Lampert's elimination in 28th place, we're down to the final three tables, which means it's time for a redraw. We're going to go get the new line up and a full round of chips counts, so stay tuned.
