Mark Montero Eliminated in 15th Place ($12,535)

Level 24 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After the pot had been opened for 35,000 and Mark Montero called, Anthony Vidmer three-bet to 100,000 from the blind. The original raiser got out of the way, Montero made the call and the flop fell {Q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Vidmer wasted little time in moving all in and Montero shrugged before calling off his stack.

Showdown
Vidmer: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Montero: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

Montero had gotten lucky to pair his queen and take the lead, and Vidmer didn't seem overly concerned. In fact, the atmosphere was so laid-back that it took a moment for everyone to register that Vidmer made a runner-runner flush when the {8-Hearts} appeared on the turn followed by the {7-Hearts} river.

An astonished Vidmer collected the pot while Montero smiled, shook hands and made his way to the payout desk to collect $12,535 for his 15th-place finish.
