Cartwright Doing Something Right

The reigning champ of this event, Kyle Cartwright, busted last night on Day 1b but opted to reenter here at the start of Day 2 with a 20-big-blind stack. It appears to have been a good decision as he had already ran it up to 76,000.

In a recent hand, Cartwright got his stack of 37,100 all in preflop holding {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and was racing against his opponent's {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Every time we watch Cartwright in a hand he wins, and that's what he did here as the board ran out {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Cartwright won his fourth gold ring yesterday, and with a little luck he may make a push for number five here today.
