We are Back!

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

And with a change in the schedule. We were supposed to play two levels, but they have decided to play just one more level before we wrap up for the night.

Gimme a Break, Gimme a Break

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Players are on their last break of the night. Once they return, they will play two more levels, or play down to a final table, whichever comes first. After that, they will bag and tag their chips, and be done for the night.

Crawford Flops Broadway and Gets Paid

Brandon Crawford is making poker look easy.
Brandon Crawford is making poker look easy.

Sal Rassibi opened for 31,000, David Singontiko called as did Brandon Crawford on the button. The flop came {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {J-Spades} and Rassibi moved all in, Singontiko folded and Crawford snap-called and immediately tabled {K-Spades} {Q-Hearts} for Broadway.

Rassibi was at a loss for words and tabled {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs} and was looking for a miracle runner-runner to stay alive. But he whiffed when the board completed {2-Hearts} {10-Spades} and Crawford is nearing two million.

Torelli Taken Out By Summers

Alec Torelli-Busto
Alec Torelli-Busto

While we were typing up chip counts and other hands, one of the biggest names left in the field, Alec Torelli, was eliminated. We went over to the table, and got a brief recap of the hand. Dylan Hortin opened up for 23,000, and got two callers in middle position. Action folded to Torelli in late position, and he raised it up to 58,000. Hortin folded, and only one of the original callers, Chris Summers, came along.

The flop came out {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, and Summers checked to Torelli, who bet out 60,000. Summers called, and the turn brought a {j-}. Summers checked, and Torelli went all in for approximately 450,000. Summers made the call, and saw that he was well out in front.

Summers: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Torelli: {7-}{6-}

Torelli would need a ten or a five to survive, and he wouldn't get it, as the river brought the {6-Clubs}. Summers scooped the massive pot to up his stack to 1.15 million, while Torelli made his walk to the payout desk.

Villanueva Traps With Aces, Busts Forster

John Villanueva started the action by limping in middle position. Action folded to Cy Williams in the cutoff, who raised it to 31,000. It folded to Dave Forster in the big blind, who shoved all in for about 80,000. Villanueva took little time in moving all in himself, and while Williams looked like he wanted to call, he decided to fold, sensing that Villanueva had sprung a trap. Sure enough, he had.

Villanueva: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Forster: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The board brought no sweat for Villanueva, coming {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}, and he scooped the pot to up his stack to around 400,000.

Crawford Cans Brecher

Brandon Crawford raised it up to 34,000 in early position, and Sal Rassibi called in middle position. Action folded to Steve Brecher on the button, who shoved all in for 277,000 total. Action folded back to Crawford, who shoved all in himself after he got a count. Rassibi folded, and the players flipped their cards.

Crawford: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Brecher: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Brecher needed alot of help to survive, and he wouldn't see any of it come as the board ran out {j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Crawford collected the pot, and he is now the chip leader with around 1.5 million.
