We didn't catch the hand that did it as it happened, but 2011 bracelet winner David Singontiko was nice enough to give us the breakdown of how it happened. According to him, Liebert opened from under the gun, and Rex Clinkscales was the lone caller. The two players got it in on a flop, and while Liebert had an over pair of nines, she was drawing virtually dead against the of Clinkscales. The board brought no more help, and Liebert was sent packing.

Matt Weber has been cruising ever since he sat down at his table, but we finally saw him on the losing end of a big pot just moments ago.
We caught the action on the flop, which read . Weber's sole opponent fired out 4,000, and Weber tossed in the call. The on the turn killed the action, as both the players checked, but there was action on the river. Weber was now faced with a bet of 6,000, and as soon as the bet was place, he sighed, said "Why am I the worst?", and put the call in.
Weber's opponent opened up for a turned set, and Weber chucked his cards toward the muck. After that hand, Weber is down to 44,000 which is still well above the average.

Alex Masek had high hopes for this main event. He cashed here last season, and he won his record tying 5th WSOP Circuit Ring here in Event #1. Masek was surely hoping this Main Event would end with the dream scenerio of winning his 6th, but he will have to wait till the next stop to do that. He has been eliminated.

Matt Weber was running his table before we went on break, but nothing has gone his way since. We just saw him lose a massive pot to LA pro Phong "Turbo" Nguyen that has him down to just 11,000.
We caught the action on the flop, which was . There was already about 7,000 in the middle, and Weber checked to Nguyen, who quickly fired 3,000. Weber quickly called, and the turn was the . Again, the action was quick, as Weber check called a 6,000 bet from Nguyen.
The river brought the , and for the third time, Weber quickly checked. Nguyen paused this time, before grabbing a pink T5,000 chip, and throwing it in. Weber called, and Nguyen rolled over for a rivered straight. Weber let out a frustrated sigh before throwing his cards towards the dealer, and Nguyen collected the pot to jump up to 50,000.

Steve McQueen, no relation to the famous deceased actor with the same name, has risen above everyone else, and is our massive chip leader as we head to level 9. We hardly see any stacks that are even close to 100,000, yet McQueen has managed to pull in 130,000 in just eight levels. We will be sure to keep an eye on this big stack.
