Randall Routs James

On the first hand after the table redraw, action folded around to David Randall on the button. He raised it up, and Kenna James moved all in from the big blind. Randall snap called, and James saw that he was in big trouble.

Randall: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
James: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The board ran down {4-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, and Randall took the pot to get back into the chip lead, with 620,000.

Chehanske Busts Gerber

Action folded around to Jesse Gerber on the button, and he moved all in for his last 70,000. Jonathan Chehanske was in the small blind, and he made the call. The big blind folded, and Chehanske saw that he was in great shape for a knock out.

Chehanske: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Gerber: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The flop was a good one for Gerber, coming down {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}. This gave Gerber some chop outs, and the {q-Spades} on the turn gave him more. Gerber would win the pot with a three, or chop it with a five or any card higher then an eight. However, the {7-Clubs} on the river didn't get that done, and Gerber was eliminated.

Chehanske is now up to 510,000 after that hand.

Hahn Eliminates Kirk After Monster Flop

We heard all in and a call from Arthur Hahn's table, and saw that there was a big pot between him and Kirk. The flop had come down {7-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and Kirk figured to be in good shape with his {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. However, he was in a coin flip against the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of Hahn. "I lost count of how many outs I had," Hahn said with a chuckle.

According to the Pokernews odds calculator, Kirk was a 54% favorite against Hahn's hand. That percentage shot up to 70% when the {a-Hearts} came on the turn. However, the {10-Hearts} on the river gave Hahn two pair, and he eliminated Kirk.

After that pot, Hahn is now up to 330,000, while Kirk is eliminated short of the final two tables.

Yarron Bender Eliminated in 18th Place (5,526)

Erik Roussakis raised it up in early position, and Yarron Bender moved all in behind him. It folded around to Roussakis, who made the call with {a-}{q-}. Bender was out in front with {6-}{6-}, and it stayed that way on the flop and the turn. However, Roussakis rivered an ace, and he collected the knockout. After that hand, Roussakis is the runaway chip leader with 905,000.
