Loren Brown Eliminated in 15th Place ($8,727)

Level 24 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

As we were typing up a previous post, Loren Brown was eliminated. We went over to see how it happened, and Kevin Eyster, the man who scored the knockout, told us how it went down.

Eyster opened the action to 30,000 and Brown three bet it to 60,000. Eyster called, and the flop came down {9-Diamonds}{3-}{5-Diamonds}. Eyster checked to Brown, who moved all in for his last 110,000. Eyster made the call, and we had a coin flip.

Brown: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Eyster: {7-}{7-}

Brown actually had the slight advantage, but the board bricked out on him, coming a non diamond {6-} and {3-}.

Eyster bumped his stack back up to 1.001 million
