Schulze Builds Stack

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

On the three-way flop of {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts}, Fabrice Halleux checked out of the big blind, as did Vadzim Lipauka under the gun. Felix Schulze bet 15,000 and Halleux folded, Lipauka called. The {Q-Clubs} appeared on the turn and Lipauka check-folded to a bet of 45,000 by Schulze.

One hand later, Schulze opened to 13,500 and Felipe Ramos three-bet to 36,500 from one seat over. Schulze moved all in and Ramos folded.

Ramos Takes From Schulze

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Pavel Binar's raise to 15,000 was called by Pierre Neuville, who check-folded the {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop to a bet by 17,000 of Binar.

Right after, Felix Schulze raised to 13,000 in the cutoff and Felipe Ramos called on the button. On the {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, Schulze bet 11,500 and Ramos called before the roles were reversed on the {J-Clubs} turn. Schulze checked and Ramos 25,000, which Schulze called. The {4-Diamonds} river was checked and Schulze showed {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, while Ramos claimed the pot with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

Schulze Fires Another Three Barrels

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

A raise by Felix Schulze in the hijack picked up a single caller in Robert Schulz from the small blind and the latter check-called a bet of 12,000 on the {J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. After the {K-Hearts} turn, Schulz checked and called a second barrel for 36,500 before the {7-Hearts} on the river brought another check from Schulz.

Schulze emptied the clip with a bet of 87,000 and had some 130,000 behind. The last time the hand played out this way, Schulz had check-shoved the river. This time around, he elected to fold and Schulze claimed the pot without showdown.

Mustafov Builds Stack

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Out of the small blind, Fahredin Mustafov raised to 24,000 and Felix Schulze called in the big blind. On the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop both players checked and Mustafov's bet of 9,000 on the {7-Diamonds} turn was raised to 25,000, which the Bulgarian called. Both checked the {5-Diamonds} river and Mustafov won the pot with {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}.

Vadzim Lipauka raised and picked up two calls by Mustafov as well as Pierre Neuville in the big blind. On a flop of {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, action checked to Mustafov and his bet of 25,000 was called by Neuville only. The {6-Spades} turn saw Neuville check once more and Mustafov's second bet of 65,000 did the trick to force a fold.

Pots for Schulze and Lipauka

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Schulz opened to 17,000 and Felix Schulze called from the big blind. The duo checked the {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop and the {A-Diamonds} turn before Schulze bet the {3-Hearts} river for 33,000. Schulz called and was shown {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, while Schulze flipped over {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. He then noticed that his hand was second best and he mucked. "Could have been worse," Schulz added.

One hand later, Pavel Binar raised to 20,000 and Vadzim Lipauka three-bet to 54,000 in order to force a fold and win the pot.

Binar Busts to Mustafov

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Pavel Binar
Pavel Binar

Fahredin Mustafov raised to 19,000 and Pavel Binar three-bet all in out of the big blind. "How much?" Mustafov immediately asked and the shove of the Czech was for 72,000 in total. Mustafov called and had one over card to the pocket pair of the Czech.

Pavel Binar: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Fahredin Mustafov: {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

Instead of an ace, Mustafov got there with his kicker on the board {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs} to eliminate Binar in 8th place.

Mustafov Wins a Big One

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Felix Schulze raised first to act to 17,000 and Fahredin Mustafov defended his big blind, then checked and called a bet of 15,000 by Schulze on the {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop. After the {9-Clubs} turn, Mustafov checked again and Schulze bet 36,000. A check-raise to 105,000 followed and Schulze called.

The {8-Spades} river slowed down both players and they checked through. Mustafov turned over {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a jack-high straight and that was good enough to win the pot, boosting his stack up to half a million.
