Van Wesemael Rolls On; Petleshkov Doubles

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Viliyan Petleshkov
Viliyan Petleshkov

With around 9,000 in the middle and the flop reading {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}, the action was on Erez Hamerov who bet 3,500. Vojtech Ruzicka called on the button and Sander van Wesemael check-raised to 12,000 out of the big blind. Hamerov folded and Ruzicka called to see the {4-Spades} on the turn.

Van Wesemael fired again for 16,000 and Ruzicka went into the tank for over a minute before finally folding. Van Wesemael took down another pot as his chip stack continues to rise.

Meanwhile, at the next table, Viliyan Petleshkov shoved all-in for 16,600 and was called by Gregor Greko. Petleshkov tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and was up against the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} of Greko. The board ran out {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Petleshkov paired his ace on the river to earn himself a double up. Greko was left with under 10 big blinds and it will be a struggle for him to find a bag at the conclusion of the day.
