After 234 entrants took part in Day 1a of the Main Event yesterday, today is the final chance for players to grab their own personal slice of the €1 million guarantee on offer. Players who entered and subsequently re-entered yesterday are still able to enter today, but if they are forced to re-enter again, then they are no long able to buy in at the start of Day 2.
Yesterday it was Lambros Vrakas who soared to the top of the chip counts with 249,500, more than 40,000 chips ahead of second place Grzegorz Idziak. Today players will have twelve 45-minute levels to try and match Vrakas' stack ahead of Day 2, with 15-minute breaks after level 3 and level 9, with a 45-minute dinner break coming at the conclusion of level 6.

Josef Gulas opened to 150 from the cutoff and was three-bet by Tomasz Chmiel on the button to 575. Gulas four-bet to 1,700 and Chmiel called.

There were no women playing Day 1a yesterday but there are already four in the field today including Camilla Reventlow from Denmark who just took down an early pot.
Reventlow bet 1,300 on the turn of a board reading and picked up two callers.
The completed the board with no further action and when Jonathan Bussieres showed Reventlow showed her to take the pot with a flush.

The flop was and check from Vella saw Braginskyi bet 150. Vella went for a check raise to 400 and Braginskyi called.
The turn was the and Vella led out for 900 which was met by a raise to 2,500 from Braginskyi. Vella called.

On a flop of Gsuck bet 800, and there was one caller before Tok raised to 4,500.
