Day 2 of the €1,650 entry €1,000,000 guarantee WSOPC Main Event at the King’s Casino Rozvadov gets underway at 2pm today as the tournament gets down to the business end.

There are 235 players left in the hunt from 615 entries across the two staring days, though registration is still open until the start of play.

Marian Flesar from Slovakia is the current chip leader with 271,700 having topped the Day 1b field. Sebastian Malec from Poland, the EPT Barcelona 2016 Champion, lies second with 250,200 and Lambros Vrakas from Germany is third with 249,500 having led Day 1a.

Other notables in the field include Josef Snejberg (228,000), Thomas Traboulsi (148,700), Matthias De Meulder (93,500), Dimitri Urbanovitch (64,400), Martin Staszko (61,500) and Pierre Neuville (47,900).

Shortly after the close of registration the prizepool and pay-outs will be confirmed with details of first place prize money as well as the number of places getting paid for that nail biting bubble spot.

The tournament is scheduled to play 10 levels today and will switch to hour long levels and, with a dinner break, play will come to an end just past midnight. The survivors will then bag up their chips and return for the final day on Sunday.
