Carey Chips Up with Top Pair

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was a raise to 2,800 from middle position and Irene Carey three-bet to 7,700 on the button. The blinds folded and the initial raiser made the call. The flop fell {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and the action checked to Carey who continued for 5,700. Her opponent called and the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Both players checked and the {2-Spades} completed the board. The action was on Carey again who sized up a bet of 17,300. Her opponent thought for a moment before eventually paying her off. Carey showed {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for top pair and her opponent mucked his cards.

Minghini on the Right Side of a Cooler

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

After a couple of limpers, the small blind bumped it up to 10,500. Jarod Minghini came in for nearly a min-raise to 20,000 from the big blind. The limpers all folded and the small blind called.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and the small blind checked to Minghini who announced all in. The small blind had around 27,000 chips remaining and quickly stuck them in the middle to put himself at risk.

Jarod Minghini: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The {4-Spades} on the turn and the {a-Diamonds} on the river only improved Minghini to a set of aces as he sent his opponent to the rail.

Israelashvili Fills Up on the River

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Roland Israelashvili slid out a bet of 24,300 into a pot of over 25,000. Sean Yu was on his left and just called to see the {7-Hearts} on the river.

Israelashvili shipped all in for 32,400 and Yu had a decision to make. He thought for over a minute before finally making the call. Israelashvili showed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a full house while Yu got rivered with his {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, sending a double to Israelashvili.

Moscati Makes the Right Call

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After a limp from under the gun, Vincent Moscati raised to 9,000 from the hijack. The action folded back to the limper who shoved all in for 43,500. Moscati asked for a count and tanked for nearly two minutes before making the call to put his opponent at risk.

Vincent Moscati: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Moscati held the superior pocket pair and the flop of {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs} changed none of that. The {9-Hearts} on the turn and the {a-Hearts} on the river didn't change the situation and Moscati held on to eliminate his opponent.

Donovan Flops Quads to Double Up

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After arriving at the table, Zachary Donovan and Dennis Brand had all of their chips in the middle after a couple of preflop raises. Donovan was the player at risk for 50,500 chips but did hold the better hand.

Zachary Donovan: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Dennis Brand: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The dealer fanned the flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs} to give Donovan quad jacks. Brand was already drawing dead and the runout was insignificant as he sent over a double up.
