Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit $1,700 Main Event St. Charles starts at noon. The two starting flights pulled together a total of 414 entries, which was enough to blast by the half a million guarantee that was set. Just 67 found a bag during the two starting flights and those lucky enough to do so will be returning on Day 2, battling it out for another ten levels of play.
Starting the day with the overall chip lead is Scott Hall who bagged large in Day 1b as he will look to add another deep run this series after finishing ninth in the Choctaw Main Event for $25,672.

A min-cash will be paying $2,532, but all eyes will be on the $130,667 first-place prize that the eventual champion will be taking home, along with a shiny new gold ring.

Play will begin at noon local time with blinds picking back up at 40:50 from level 16 where blinds are 2,000/4,000/4,000. The plan is to play a total of ten 60-minute levels and there will be a 15-minute break between every two. A 75-minute dinner break will take place at the end of level 21 and all remaining by nights end will bag up for the final day.

There was three way action that saw a flop. Roger Campbell lead out for 13,000 and Kelly Crawford jammed for 46,000 sitting directly on his left. Action was on Melissa Bryne who came over the top and got isolation.

Jeffery Trudeau Jr opened for 9,000 from late position and Tim Garles moved all in for 42,000 from the big blind, Trudeau Jr called.

Garles woke up with a monster hand in the big blind but the flop fell giving Trudeau Jr the wheel draw.
The brought the pairing Trudeau Jr and Garles needed a king to win or a four for the chop.
Unfortunately for Garles, the river fell a to end his tournament but he was able to walk away a min-cash after coming into the day as the shortest stack with 28,000.
