Green Eliminated With Big Slick

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Brian Green
Brian Green

In the last blind level, Brian Green opened on the button for 38,000 and the small blind player three-bet jammed for 550,000. The big blind folded and Green snap-called.

Brian Green: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Green had his opponent dominated and improved with the {k-}{9-}{5-} flop.

The turn came the {10-} giving Green's opponent a draw to broadway.

Green would, unfortunately, see a bad river as it fell the {q-} and he was eliminated from the tournament as he shipped his 440,000 stack to his opponent.

Dave Alfa
Dave Alfa

Carson Wieland opened for 11,000 under the gun and Dave Alfa raised from middle position leaving himself with just a few thousands behind. Action folded back around to Wieland who four-bet Alfa all in and was called.

Carson Wieland: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Dave Alfa: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Alfa was ahead with his ladies as the flop fell {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} giving Wieland a pair of jacks.

The turn fell the {2-Hearts} and Alfa got his double after the board completed with the {4-Hearts} river.
